I am level 298 in new game +4. Do you think I’m at the right level or over/under leveled? I found that I wasn’t one shotting enemies and they were also killing me pretty fast

The base game was bad enough. I don't even know why I bought the dlc. Empty space and the most annoying attack patterns they could imagine turned up to 11

So, if I respec my character damage dealing stats to minimum requirements, would it effect my character in the Shadow Realm?

I think you're going to have to redo the whole playthrough once you reach a certain boss, i just can't see anyone beating him on ng+7 in current state

It doesn't really address questions around Rune Level though. I'm RL1 coming into it, and enemies are one shotting me. But reading Reddit, players are getting one shotted at RL300+ as well.

There is no way this is ng+7, the damage you took in the black goal knight fight was like half of what I took, and I’m sitting at level 467 with maxed out defence. Also had a blessing as well. Something isn’t right here.

God damn, I loved everything about the dancing lion boss fight. The music is so hype, his move set is literally the most insane shit I’ve ever seen, sure the camera can be a little finicky but once you get the timings on the dodges it feels incredible with the music pumping you up. Such an awesome spectacle, I was exhilarated after battling him nonstop for like 2 and a half hours I had to just sit there for ten minutes to just process what happened. 10/10 boss fight, true boss design mastery on display by FromSoft once again 🔥nice job on the win btw, I’m only on NG+1 I couldn’t imagine NG+7 😬

So my soul level isn't really important or what? I got the dlc but i was grinding a bit to reach level 190 before starting

I finally found an ng+7 dlc run, im doing one too and im always seeing these ng player getting no damage, now i know im not alone with getting killed by some random enemys bc the deal to much damage, just watched all your 5 episodes in a row, u are very entertaining❤

Invasions are so rough nowadays. Everyone just running bleed and heavy poise. No creativity to be found. The souls community used to be better than this.....

Why is it that the damage in my ng+12 character is off the charts, like dogs can kill me with two bites, and most enemies can almost one shot me. I know u need those things to balance the damage but damn, it’s insane. I’m currently stuck with Rellana cause all her moves one shot me

Hey dude. Any chance you can get with FromSoft or Bandi and have them fix the region lock. I can't play the DLC because I bought the game on Amazon. Didn't realize it was an EU copy. So now my DLC won't work. Sucks hard.

So i can go in the DLC with +0 weapons and id still deal the same amount of dmg as if id have +10/25 ? (Before burning any fragments)

the ghostflame dragon are VERY weak to holy (just like the death-rite birds) so just use epitaph with coded sword and buff with the epitaph WA and you melt them lmao

Whats new pvp cap?

Ghostflame Dragon has 3 unique/modified attacks I think. The heavy stomp with ghostflame ring explosion which is definitely modified, then a fire breath that reaches under itself without flying which I think is completely new and then another new one which was the super ''get the fuck off me'' ghostflame blast, I don't think any other dragon has anything like that. In short, they put a lot more effort to it than I thought when I heard the previews.

So what's the new pvp meta? Everyone better not be staying below 150 now.

Does it crash more often the more people you have? Would it be less frequent if it was only a couple ppl ?

Does being in ng+ 3 affect the scaling?

But still don't understand how it works mechanically. Like is the DLC a set number of damage that changes the same for everyone or is it designed to be percent based on current level as I heard supposedly it's made so you can go in at any time.

For people that don't know where all the bell bearings are (not everyone uses the wiki) having a bunch of random upgrade materials can help people use dlc weapons.
